The Slam Man was originally designed by a professional boxer for boxers as an advanced way to get fit and improve boxing skills. It's no wonder then that since it was released, it has become a massive hit around the world. It has been proven to be extremely effective in helping people lose weight and getting fit. It?s also great for busting stress and improving your self defence skills.
It's human shaped torso provides a more realistic training regime than a regular punching bag. Many boxing and Muay Thai gyms now favour this kind of punching bag.
The Slam Man enables you to duplicate a professional boxer's workout, naturally firming up and toning the different muscle groups while at the same time improving your stamina, reflexes and co-ordination. You can work on both your speed and power punching with this.
The exterior is made from super-tough Polyethylene with a soft "target area" foam designed to absorb and dissipate hard impact forces. This allows the Slam Man to withstand the hard punches of professional boxers and martial artists. The Slam Man was even featured on The Gadget Show from the UK.
Unlike a free standing punching bag, the Slam Man contains a computerized programme of workouts where lights on the Slam Man light up telling you where to hit. There are 15 different programmes to choose from and you can even customize your own. As you get better, you can set the lights to move faster, making you throw faster combinations or go out according to the strength of the punch.
The height of the Slam Man can be adjusted from 5 ft to over 6 ft so height isn't a problem when using the Slam Man.
